Training Packages are comprehensive sets of learning resources, competency requirements, credentialing, and assessment criteria that are tailored to specific industries, sectors, or enterprises. They are designed to meet the needs and skills required by particular industries or job roles. Training Packages include units of competency that outline the skills and knowledge required to successfully perform a specific task or job. Completing a training program based on these packages leads to the attainment of nationally recognized qualifications that are accepted across Australia.

Nationally recognized qualifications are certifications, diplomas, or degrees that are recognized and accepted across all states and territories in Australia. These qualifications are aligned with the national standards outlined in the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
